Where to Watch Isekai Quartet – and Which Four Anime Are in It

When it comes to the immensely popular genre of isekai anime, as far as fans are concerned, the more the merrier. That was exactly the mentality behind the creation of Isekai Quartet, which is exactly what it sounds like. Combining the various heroes of multiple isekai franchises, Isekai Quartet is the ultimate reincarnation crossover anime.

Thankfully for readers and viewers who can't get enough of waking up in another world, there's more coming for the series. Many, however, may be wondering which franchises are juxtaposed in Isekai Quartet. To help with that, here's a look at the ambitious anime crossover and where to watch it.

The Four Shows in Iskeai Quartet

Despite the name, Isekai Quartet does not involve four heroes from different isekai series' coming together, but rather characters from four different isekai franchises. Said series' are perhaps the most popular in the current modern-day isekai trend, and their initial ranks are made up of KonoSuba, the overpowered antics of OverlordRe:Zero and the slightly lesser-known Saga of Tanya the Evil.

However, as the series has progressed, the crossover hasn't stopped at just four franchises. Additional characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero, as well as Cautious Hero, have also been added into the mix. Thus, the franchise has become a meeting place for the biggest names in isekai to do battle and act silly in some of the most uproarious reincarnations of them all.

The Plot of Isekai Quartet

The story of Isekai Quarter is rather ridiculous, befitting its cartoonish and super-deformed art style. The plot involves a mysterious button showing up in various worlds, with the button being touched by the main characters of the first four aforementioned series'. From there, they're all transported to a new world in which they attend a humorous high school, showing that even reincarnated people can reincarnate again. They're eventually joined by other characters, engaging in silly antics all the while.

Where to Read the Isekai Quartet Manga/Light Novels

Surprisingly, there are no specific light novels or manga for Isekai Quartet. This is likely due to the light novels and manga being handled and published by different companies in some cases (although most of the books are published by the same companies). However, each of these individual franchises does have manga and light novels, which can be found through traditional means.

Brick and mortar stores like Books-a-Million, Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Target typically carry book incarnations of each franchise, with online stores like Amazon and Right Stuf Anime definitely having them. Many of the manga are also available through Kindle and Comixology, while some light novels such as Overlord are also making the jump to audiobooks on services like Audible.
