World’s End Harem Series Delayed After Airing Just One Episode

The anime adaptation of LINK and Kotaro Shōno's World's End Harem was supposed to premiere as part of Crunchyroll's fall 2021 anime season; however, the series has been postponed until early next year after airing just one episode in Japan.

According to an announcement posted to the anime's official Twitter account, the first episode of World's End Harem that premiered on Oct. 8 in Japan is now being labelled as a "special advance broadcast," and the streaming version of the episode and all subsequent episodes will not be released until sometime in January 2022. The announcement also explains that the delay is due to the production having to be "closely examined."
