The second cour of Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld has been delayed until July.
First scheduled to begin airing this month, the broadcast date was postponed until July due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an official statement, the producers offers sincere apologies for causing worry or inconvenience to those looking forward to the show.
The anime's website will be updated with further information as soon as a firm date and time have been confirmed.
The TV special that was set to air on Apr. 18 will now air in July, while the first cour will be broadcast again from Apr. 18.
