Poetry & Electro-R&B Merge Into One In Carey Renee’s Debut Single “House Is Burning”

Wisconsin-born American recording artist Carey Renee has released her debut single titled “House Is Burning.” Produced by Dru Decaro (Snoop Dogg, Miguel, John Legend) and Adam Kobylarz, “House Is Burning” sees the young artist’s poetry and electro-R&B sonorities merge into one. A fine guitar solo is beautifully incorporated into this production, making it even more epic than it already is.

The fluidity and quality of Carey Renee’s songwriting beautifully channel the ever-changing nature of human experience, as she talks about feel betrayed by the people she loves the most. Instead of being focused on the negative aspect of her emotions, she transforms her pain into finding her deepest self and becoming stronger than ever thanks to pursuing her passion for music.

She displays a “slice of life” styled narrative that captures beauty in its natural state, bound to resonate with music and art enthusiasts worldwide. So far, “House Is Burning” has been streamed over 130K times on Spotify alone, and almost 100K views on YouTube.
