Also known as the Wing Hero, Hawks is the current Number Two Hero in My Hero Academia and one of the most fearsome fighters in the series. He wields the power of Fierce Wings, a Quirk that grants him two massive wings, the feathers of which can be freely controlled by him.
It goes without saying that Hawks is stronger than most characters in My Hero Academia. However, there are those who possess more strength than him. Here are five My Hero Academia characters stronger than Hawks, as well as five who are weaker.
10 Stronger: All Might
Toshinori Yagi, also known as All Might, is the former wielder of the One For All Quirk. During his time as a Pro Hero, All Might was known as the greatest Hero in existence. He was powerful enough to take on the likes of All For One in one-on-one combat and defeat him. So far, he is the strongest character to ever appear in the entire series.
9 Weaker: Best Jeanist
Best Jeanist is the current Number Three Hero in My Hero Academia, and he's considered to be an elite fighter. Even All For One acknowledged his skill as a fighter, which says a lot about how strong he truly is. Jeanist, however, is definitely weaker than Hawks since the latter is the Number Two Hero in the story right now. It is also implied that Best Jeanist was killed by Hawks, further indicating that the Wing Hero is, indeed, stronger.
8 Stronger: Endeavor
Endeavor is the current Number One Hero in the story and was once the Hero closest to All Might in the story. His skill is immense, and there are only a few who can match up to his powerful quirk. All For One, the greatest Villain in the story, praised the strength of Endeavor during the Kamino incident. In fact, Hawks himself admits to being inferior to the Flame Hero, Endeavor.
7 Weaker: Izuku Midoriya
Midoriya is one of the strongest Hero aspirants from UA, and, despite his young age, he is stronger than quite a lot of pro Heroes already. He is the current wielder of the One For All quirk, and he also holds the power to use Black Whip.
Under Endeavor's training, he has gotten stronger than ever before. While Izuku may be stronger than some pros, he is much weaker compared to Hawks, and it'll take him years to get to that level.
6 Stronger: All For One
All For One is the strongest known Villain in the history of My Hero Academia, and much of it is down to his quirk, also known as All For One. His ability allows him to steal the quirks of others and stockpile them. He is also able to distribute the Quirks among people at will. All For One was strong enough to rival All Might in battle and push him beyond 100% on multiple occasions. Someone like him is definitely stronger than Hawks.
5 Weaker: Shoto Todoroki
Shoto is the son of the current Number One Hero, Endeavor, and is known to have the potential to surpass his father as a Hero. His quirk, known as Half-Cold, Half-Hot, allows him to control both ice and fire at will. Like Izuku Midoriya, Shoto is powerful enough to beat some of the pro Heroes already. However, he is not even close to the level of Hawks as of now. To achieve that goal, he'll have to train harder.
4 Stronger: Nine
Nine is the main antagonist of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and was initially designed by Kohei Horikoshi to be included in his final plans for the manga. Nine is extremely strong, known to rival and possibly even surpass All For One as a Villain.
He has the power of multiple quirks at his disposal, which makes him a monster in combat. Midoriya failed to beat him, even with 100% of One For All.
3 Weaker: Jin Bubaigawara
Also known as Twice, Jin was one of the members of the Paranormal Liberation Front, formerly the League of Villains. He was one of their strongest known members, and his level of skill could only be matched by a few in the series. Even after awakening his ability, Jin proved to be inferior to Hawks in combat, who managed to defeat him without even going all out. Ultimately, Jin was killed by the Wing Hero: Hawks.
2 Stronger: Shigaraki Tomura
Shigaraki is the current leader of the League of Villains and the strongest known member of the Paranormal Liberation Front. His power can barely be matched by anyone in the series right now. Although he was rather average towards the beginning of the story, Shigaraki has become one of the most powerful characters right now. After his surgery, he is likely going to be stronger than ever before and much more powerful than Hawks.
1 Weaker: Bakugo Katsuki
Bakugo Katsuki is a Hero aspirant from U.A's Class 1-A, just like Izuku Midoriya. He's one of the strongest people in the series, and a match for the likes of Shoto and Izuku. He wields the power of the Explosion quirk, and his skill is no less than that of a Pro Hero. He has the potential to become the greatest Hero in history. However, right now, he's not even close to cracking the top five, which means Hawks is stronger.
