Elden Ring Player’s ‘One Punch Man Build’ Beats Every Boss in a Single Hit

A dedicated Elden Ring player has designed a build that allows him to take down every mandatory boss in one hit.

Twitch streamer BushyGames uploaded a video on his YouTube channel which explained the reasoning behind his build and the methods he used to take down the bosses. According to Eurogamer, except for the overpowered spell Comet Azur, the streamer gave himself free use of every weapon and ability in the game. However, he only allowed himself to use a single attack per boss and boss phase.

BushyGames' character, appropriately named One Punch Man after the superhero franchise of the same name, used a build that included a large hammer called the Giant-Crusher, which he spent many hours finding materials for to upgrade it to the max level. He also collected multiple smithing stones and weapon skills to further increase the damage on the Giant-Crusher. After three hours of grinding and collecting enough resources, he was able to defeat the first boss in one hit.

However, even though BushyGames had stated that he could not use Comet Azur, he forfeited the rule near the end of the game. The streamer had to use the spell in the final boss battle against Radagon and Elden Beast due to the sheer difficulty, though findings may suggest another Elden Ring boss is even more difficult. BushyGames' victory came after a 25-hour livestream consisting of loot farming, dying and problem-solving.

Elden Ring was developed by FromSoftware, a company most known for creating the punishing Souls series, along with the titles Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game follows the player, an exile known as the Tarnished, as they return to the Land Between and fight many unforgiving bosses in an attempt to repair the Elden Ring and become the next Elden Lord. Though FromSoftware's games are known for their severe and bleak atmospheres, a portion of the community has dedicated their time to making and role-playing some of the wackiest character builds, with one even including a traveling duo of Jesus Christ and Lucifer in Elden Ring.

Released to overwhelmingly positive acclaim in February 2022, Elden Ring continues to sell at an unfathomable rate, surpassing Call of Duty: Vanguard for the best-selling game of the last twelve months. Elden Ring is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
