Dragon Ball Fans Transform Their Kid Into Vegeta for an Epic Birthday Party

In a new viral video, a young child makes a dramatic entrance to a party in a way that would make Dragon Ball's Vegeta proud.

The video, which was originally posted to TikTok by user @yechi0115, shows a toddler arriving to the Dragon Ball-themed party in a homemade Attack Ball. The space pod is equipped with show-accurate control panels, a transparent porthole window and a working door, which opens to reveal that the tiny warrior is wearing a replica of Vegeta's iconic Frieza Force battle armor. The young celebrant then tours the room, surveying the planet that they are sure to conquer with their immense Saiyan strength.

The adorable video was liked on TikTok almost 200,000 times, and was reposted on Twitter, where it accumulated another 25,000 likes and more than 5,000 retweets.

Dragon Ball fans who want to see the origins of another Saiyan warrior should look into the upcoming release of Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater, a compilation of the creator's earlier works which also includes Dragon Boy, the two-chapter 1983 manga that would later serve as the prototype for Goku's story.

In the more than 35 years since its original 1984 debut in Weekly Shonen Jump, Dragon Ball has become one of the most iconic anime and manga franchises in the world. Akira Toriyama's original manga is the third best-selling manga series of all time with over 250 million copies in circulation worldwide, and was also adapted into an extremely popular anime series, which is often cited as one of the shows that helped to popularize anime with mainstream audiences outside of Japan. The franchise continues into the current day with the on-going Dragon Ball Super manga, which is supervised by Toriyama and features art by the self-taught illustrator Toyotarou.
