Anime Expo, the largest anime convention in North America, returned to Los Angeles, California, with a vengeance! AX 2023 brought figurative fire to the LA Convention Center, boasting creator and voice actor guests from Japan, live stage performances, EDM dances, VTuber Q&A's, fan activations, a Japanese food festival... and that's just scratching the surface!

For the first time ever, GoodSmile unveiled a look at an unpainted Link figma figure from this year's most popular Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! The figure producer also wowed attendees with appearances by dazzling Oshi no Ko, Attack on Titan, My Dress-Up Darling, and hololive VTuber figures!
Aniplex was also present at AX 2023. The popular figure maker told a story of both beauty and brawn with an assortment of action-packed statues from the Demon Slayer and Fate series! Even Mash Burnedead from the anime Mashle muscled his way into the display with a new articulated figure!
Kadokawa opened up its KDcolle vault to showcase gorgeous figures from No Game No Life, Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Overlord, and many other fan favorite titles!
SEGA's S-FIRE booth returned to AX for the second year in a row! The aptly named figure maker presented flaming hot figures that included the Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Hatsune Miku properties!
