Mecha anime 86 -Eighty Six- has released a trailer for its upcoming second cour and confirmed additional cast plus the theme song artists!
Misaki Kuno will join the cast as Frederica Rosenfort along with Yuya Uchida as Ernst Zimmerman and Asuna Tomari as Shiden Iida.
The second cour's opening theme song is "Kyokaisen" by amazarashi. The ending theme song is "Alchemila" by Regal Lily will perform the ending.
Adapted from Asato Asato's light novel series, 86 -Eighty Six- is set in a world in which the Empire of Giad and the Republic of San Magnolia have each developed autonomous mechanized units, named Legions and Juggernauts respectively. Though the Juggernauts are believed to be unmanned, they are in reality piloted by 86s, a group of minorities who are not recognized as human.
86 -Eighty Six- returns with its second cour on October 3, 2021.
