Yu-Gi-Oh!: Seita Kaiba Poses With Dragons in Sharp New Megahouse Figure

Megahouse's newest Yu-Gi-Oh! figure sees Seto Kaiba unleash his most iconic monsters.

According to Anime! Anime!, the Japanese toymaker is adding a Seto Kaiba figure to its V.S. Series of pre-painted statues later this year. The Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Seto Kaiba figure is approximately 16" tall and 22" wide, and it features the stoic duelist summoning both a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon.

Megahouse has released other Yu-Gi-Oh! figures recently, including a highly detailed figurine of the Dark Magician (known as the Black Magician in Japan). It features the duel monster's original blue and red color scheme from Kazuki Takashi's manga series, stands around 9" tall and sports a metallic finish. Moreover, a pillow-version of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s iconic duel disk was released on Kaiba Corporation Shop, an online store by Konami. It's designed to attach to your arm and is made from soft material, making it ideal for napping between duels.

Takashi's Yu-Gi-Oh! manga was published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from September 1996 to March 2004, producing 38 volumes worth of content. The story follows Yugi Mutou, who finds himself sharing a body with an ancient Egyptian pharaoh after he solves the Millennium Puzzle. The series has spawned a massive multimedia franchise, which encompasses multiple manga spinoffs, anime, video games and a popular trading card game.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise has been working on developments beyond impressive figurines. The latest anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, is set to debut this April and will feature an alien as the protagonist for the first time in the franchise's history. Bridge, the studio behind Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, is producing the show with Nobuhiro Kondo serving as director, Toshimitsu Takeuchi overseeing the series composition and Masahiro Hikokubo supervising the duel layout. The cast includes Arthur Lounsberry (Haikyu!!) and Takuya Eguchi (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).

Also, Master Duel, a free-to-play, cross-platform version of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s popular trading card game, is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and multiple versions of the Xbox. It features 4K graphics, single and online multiplayer modes and over 10,000 cards. The game is intended to be accessible and fun for both newcomers and veterans of the game.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Seto Kaiba figure retails for 47,080 yen (roughly $408 USD) and is currently available for pre-order via the Premium Bandai Store, the Jump Character Store, Ami Ami and Yellow Submarine. It is expected to ship sometime this October.
