The Plot Of Your Lie in April
The story of Your Lie in April revolves around the two young co-stars, Kosei Arima and Kaori Miyazono, and their musical adventures together. They both love making music but their lives are on completely different trajectories, and tragically, Kaori's own life may end long before Kosei's. Still, Kosei has his own problems -- he may be talented with the piano, but his strict mother forced him to play with mechanical precision rather than passion, and following her death, her memory began haunting Kosei every time he went near a keyboard. In fact, Kosei can no longer hear the piano at all, and is on the verge of giving up music until he hears a girl playing a song in the park.
That girl is Kaori Miyazono who, unlike Kosei, plays her instrument entirely out of passion, and she is known for her improvisational and whimsical style, no matter what any musical tutor or judge might think. Kosei's faltering musical career is revitalized at once, and he and Kaori begin playing duets to complement each other's styles. Along the way, Kosei confronts the haunting memory of his strict mother, and he must also resolve a tricky love triangle between himself, Kaori and his charming classmate Tsubaki Sawabe. However, while Kaori is in good spirits, her health is failing her, and she begins spending more and more time in the hospital, forcing Kosei to overcome his inner musical demons on his own.
