Who Is Michele Garruti, The Italian Composer Behind Glitch?

From Jazz to neo-classical, minimalism and crossover atmosphere, and from electro-inspired to glitchy and cinematic soundscapes, Michele Garruti has been an explorer of sounds, and a firm believer in the power of music since his early days. Today, he is releasing his latest album, Glitch, an album that follows-up on his previous record Cinema Meets Lullaby Glitch is mysterious, dreamy, and keeps the listener in a state of hypnosis and peace. Thanks to his incredible talent as a pianist involved in the more jazzy scene of music, Michele Garruti has gained extensive experience as a composer and musician who can play whatever comes to his mind.  He has founded his own label Oracle Records, of which he is the director, and has won the Gospel Music Award for the album A Christmas Song For You as its executive producer.  His multiple collaborations with prestigious musicians have also helped him gain international recognition among his peers.  In a way, Glitch’s fifteen compositions engulf all his knowledge and offers the audience a culmination of his vision, technique, and purpose.  Listeners will also find many resemblances with Ludovico Einaudi’s music, especially from his recent years, which sets the bar extremely high in terms of musicality, composing skills, and ability to accompany listeners on a rare journey through time and space, proving that travelling through music is indeed possible.
