HYBE and WEBTOON's latest collaboration brings TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) to the hit Korean platform in the highly-anticipated series, The Star Seekers. First premiering on January 16th directly following BTS' 7Fates: Chakho and ENHYPEN's Dark Moon, TXT's new webtoon series stars a five-member idol group called "Star One" that represents the real-life K-pop group.

What Is The Star Seekers About?

The Star Seekers is set in a fantasy world where magical idols are considered tier one and magicless idols are tier two. Given society's bias toward magical idols, tier two idol groups are often ignored by fans and quickly disbanded despite their talent and hard work in favor of tier one groups. Magical idols possess abilities ranging from water, fire and psychokinesis and use their power to enhance their performances and musical talent.

The series stars a tier two idol group called "Star One" which is about to be disbanded for not developing magical abilities before adulthood after their agency heavily invested in them. However, Soule suddenly manifests extraordinary magical abilities when his bandmates are attacked on stage, and their lives are forever changed as they're tasked to save the world.

Who Is Yeonjun's Character?

In the real life K-pop group, Yeonjun is both the main rapper and dancer as well as the eldest member of TXT. Yeonjun's character in The Star Seekers, Eugene, is also the eldest member of the fictional group Star One. As a descendent of a powerful race of warriors that take on the form of giant deer, Eugene wields the abilities of a mighty warrior with antlers on his head.

Given Eugene's magical bloodline, his physical capabilities are unrivaled and surpass those of his bandmates. However, he later finds himself bound by a contract with a mysterious being that currently has unknown origins.

Who Is Soobin's Character?

As a main vocalist and the group's second eldest member, Soobin is the leader of TXT in real life. Soobin plays Soule in the new webtoon, who is also Star One's leader and arguably The Star Seekers' main protagonist. Soule is the first of his tier two bandmates to suddenly manifest magical abilities after reaching adulthood, ultimately saving their lives in Episode 1.

Given his elf lineage, Soule has pointy ears and has naturally gifted archery skills that make a bow and arrow his weapon of choice. His greatest power is his ability to see glimpses of the future, which he initially assumes are just illusions or hallucinations his mind conjured up. While Soule is thoughtful and kindhearted, he must hide one of his biggest secrets from the rest of Star One.

Who Is Beomgyu's Character?

Beomgyu is the center and visual of TXT in real life, also being the last member of the group to be revealed. In The Star Seekers, Beomgyu plays the fictional Viken, whose iconic hairstyle and striking resemblance to his real-life counterpart can't be missed by fans. Viken is the free spirit of Star One and often comes across as indifferent.

However, Viken has a fondness for plants and a natural gift for healing that makes him more compassionate. As a descendant of the Tree Spirit race, Viken can grow thorns on his shoulders to visually display his lineage. When he later discovers the destiny laid out before him and his bandmates, he becomes increasingly confused and distrustful.

Who Is Taehyun's Character?

Often known for being studious in real life, Taehyun is the main vocalist and TXT's second youngest member. Taehyun plays Taho in The Star Seekers, who is the most inquisitive and intellectual band member in Star One. As a descendent of the extremely intelligent race of Wizard Owls, Taho studies and interprets ancient texts and magic books that teach him how to cast a large variety of magic spells. One of his favorite books to read may contain clues to Star One's destiny and future, making him a vital member of the group.

Who Is Huening Kai's Character?

Huening Kai is a main vocalist and the youngest member, or maknae, of TXT in real life. Kai's fictional counterpart in The Star Seekers, Avys, is also Star One's kindhearted youngest member. Avys is an emotional and sensitive idol, often taking things to heart and feeling deeply.

This quality can also enhance negative feelings of guilt or fear, especially when it comes to his bandmates whom he adores. As a descendent of the mystical White Bird race, Avys can sprout wings similar to Eugene's deer antlers. Despite his soft and gentle nature, Avys possesses great magical abilities and can summon powerful beings to his side.
