The God of High School New Trailer Released

The popular South Korean web-comic series The God of High School is being adapted into an anime by Crunchyroll this summer, and the latest trailer brings its cast of fighters together.

The series has high schoolers from all over South Korea enter a high-stakes martial arts tournament known as The God of High School, with the three finalists representing the entire country in a global tournament. As the trailer progresses, increasingly epic battles unfold, with high school students competing to be recognized as Korea's very best fighters.

Created by Yongje Park in 2011 through webtoon, the bestselling series has inspired a wave of merchandising and been adapted into video games, which allow fans to get their own chance to compete in the hard-hitting, eponymous tournament.

The anime series is co-produced by Crunchyroll. The premium streaming service unveiled a debut trailer earlier this month as part of the anime digital platform's wave of original programming to premiere over the course of the year.

Based on the webtoon by Yongje Park, The God of High School will premiere on Crunchyroll this July.
