Science SARU is officially set to animate a Scott Pilgrim anime that will reunite the 2010 film's original cast!

As announced by Netflix, the returning cast will include Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, and Aubrey Plaza as July Powers.
Abel Góngora will direct the series. Edgar Wright (the film's director), Bryan Lee O’Malley (the original graphic novel series' author), and BenDavid Grabinski are credited as executive producers.
Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World follows a young musician who must battle his new girlfriend's seven evil exes while playing his way through battles of the bands.
Science SARU has previously animated for Western titles like Adventure Time and Star Wars: Visions.
Details on the airdate are yet to be revealed.
