Scarlet Nexus Previews Anime Adaptation’s Second Part In New Trailer

A brand new trailer has been released for the second part of the Scarlet Nexus anime, giving fans a preview of what to expect in the show's upcoming episodes.

The trailer showcases the show's intense action, rising tensions and science fiction world. It is set to Scarlet Nexus's new opening theme song, "MACHINEGUN", which is performed by the alternative band The Oral Cigarettes. The band also previously performed the anime's first opening theme, "Red Criminal."

Adapted from Bandai Namco's action role-playing game of the same name, Scarlet Nexus follows the Other Suppression Force (OSF), which recruits individuals with supernatural abilities to protect society from a race of monstrous mutants known as the Others. The anime is produced by the animation studio Sunrise (Yashahime: Princess Half-DemonMobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) and is licensed by Funimation outside Asia.

Scarlet Nexus has a cast that includes many popular, experienced voice actors like Junya Enoki (Jujutsu KaisenAttack on Titan: The Final Season), Asami Seto (Fena: Pirate PrincessBungo Stray Dogs), Yui Horie (Fairy TaleShaman King), Daisuke Namikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist: BrotherhoodDigimon Adventure), Yumi Hara (How Not to Summon a Demon Lord) and Chinatsu Akasaki (Jujutsu KaisenDrifting Dragons).

The first part of the series premiered on July 1. New episodes of Scarlet Nexus are scheduled to begin airing on Sept. 30.
