Isabelle Rezazadeh aka REZZ has been killing the game. “Selector” was released in 2016 from her album “Something Wrong Here” and this track has elements of dark techno and hypnotic bass that you can feel in your bones.
The intro starts off with a slow build up of dark, creepy, edgy tones that is truly a unique touch REZZ has mastered. When I first heard this track, I couldn’t grasp the direction “Selector” was going but I enjoyed the fact I didn’t know what was coming up next (it adds an exciting element of surprise).
When the sound comes to a stop, right before the drop, dirty and deep bass takes over. It’s bold, heavy and eccentric, but she pulls it off sending you into a spooky musical trance.
The recently turned 22-year-old Canadian Native is self-taught and was discovered by Skrillex a few years ago via Twitter. Since then she has been thriving. REZZ has a lot to bring to the table and I cannot wait to see what she will be producing in the future.
