In the Land of Leadale (Leadale no Daichi nite) is a light novel series written by Ceez and illustrated by Tenmaso. After a terrible accident that leaves her on life support, series protagonist Cayna's last trace of freedom lies in a VRMMORPG world called Leadale. Suddenly, Cayna finds herself in the body of her game avatar, and Leadale no longer seems to be the world that she remembers.

In the Land of Leadale began serialization on Let's Become Novelists' website in November 2010 and ran until December 2012. After the story ended, Ceez published a six-chapter sequel that ran from 2013-2019. In January 2019, Kadokawa began publishing the story in revised print editions, with Yen Press distributing the novels in English in October 2020. The novel was also adapted into a manga in 2019 written by Ryo Suzukaze and illustrated by Dashio Tsukimi. This manga was published on Kadokawa's Dengeki PlayStation Comic Web manga website and licensed in English by Yen Press.

Crunchyroll premiered the anime at Anime NYC this past weekend and will simulcast it in eight different languages once it airs on television.

In the Land of Leadale premieres on the Tokyo MX station on Jan. 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. EST.
