Fans eagerly anticipating more of the hit anime Demon Slayer will soon receive more information about the show's upcoming second season.
According to a tweet from the official Twitter account for the Demon Slayer anime (translated via A.I.R. News), a special program containing new information about the anime series has been scheduled to air on July 13. The announcement will be streamed on production studio Aniplex's YouTube channel, as well as the Japanese streaming service ABEMA. The tweet also included an image of protagonist Tanjiro alongside Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, leading fans to speculate that the upcoming announcement may have something to do with the recently released Season 2 teaser.

The nearly two-minute-long, English-subbed teaser features Tengen, the Sound Hashira, who has a prominent role in the upcoming Entertainment District Arc. Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke are set to join Tengen as he investigates reports of demon activity within the Entertainment District, also known as the Red Light District. The group eventually gets involved in a battle with Gyutaro and Daki of the Twelve Kizuki. Some manga readers consider the Entertainment District Arc to be one of the series' best story arcs.
Season 2 animation duties will once again be handled by Ufotable, the animation studio responsible for Season 1 of the anime series, as well as Demon Slayer - Kimetsu No Yaiba - the Movie: Mugen Train. The first season of the anime is available for streaming on Netflix, Hulu and Funimation, while the Mugen Train movie is exclusively available on Funimation.
