My Hero Academia’s All Might Gets Life-Sized Bust That Costs All Your Money

Preorders are now open for a life-sized bust of My Hero Academia's All Might, but the massive figure comes with an equally huge price tag.

The new $12,000 USD statue comes from Furyu, a collectible manufacturer that is best known for their anime scale figures. The bust is almost five feet tall and recreates the head and torso of MHA's top hero, the altruistic All Might, in all of his former, fully powered glory. The statue is now available for preorder from Big Bad Toy Store, and value-conscious collectors will be happy to know that the 12-grand figure apparently still qualifies for the retailer's $4 flat-rate shipping, despite its massive size and assumed weight. Furyu is also producing a 1:1 scale bust of the fiery Bakugo, which costs a slightly more reasonable $7,839.99 USD and comes in at just under 40 inches tall. Both figures have an estimated ship date of June 2022.

Fans looking for slightly less expensive My Hero Academia figures should look to S-Fire's 1/7th scale figures of Bakugo and Deku, which feature AR special effects when viewed through a smartphone's camera. While these scale figures are substantially smaller than Furyu's bank breaking options, they do cost several thousand dollars less, which should make them slightly more attractive to collectors on a budget.

MHA fans can also showcase their love for the series without having to skip rent for the year by simply paying for a movie ticket for World Heroes' Mission, the latest movie in the series, which will make its theatrical premiere in the United States and Canada on Oct. 29. Distributor Funimation has announced that fans who see the movie on its opening weekend will be given a limited edition booklet, which includes an exclusive manga chapter, an interview with series creator Horikoshi, and some behind-the-scenes material, while supplies last.

My Hero Academia wrapped up its fifth season this September, but the show's producers have already confirmed that the series will continue with a sixth season that will adapt the manga's Paranormal Liberation War arc. The arc will see the world's pro-heroes and heroes-in-training at U.A. High School go to war against the villains of the Meta-Liberation Army, who are now united under the command of Tomura Shigaraki and his newly strengthened Quirk.

All five seasons of the My Hero Academia anime are available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation. The manga is localized into English and distributed internationally by VIZ Media.
