Mind Games is an underground techno label from Italy ran by Luca Maniaci.
Label boss Luca Maniaci is an established artist who lists labels such as Josh Wink’s Ovum and Florian Meindl’s FLASH Recordings in his back catalogue.
The latest EP titled White Rabbit welcomes a collaboration with close friend Dominik Fröhlich who runs the Hakiri Records imprint based in Germany. Grab your copy HERE.
“White Rabbit” uses a twisted, droning synth as its main lead that morphs and rises in tension and intensity.
Second up is “Changes” which has a more hypnotic stance that uses a pumping kick to march with great effect underneath dystopian textures.
“Mutaforma” has a pounding, raw feel followed by subtle harmonics and abstract, sci-fi tones to tell its melancholic story.
The funky roll of “Polarisation” has an instant warehouse vibe and more jackin’ feel with sweeping textures and stabbing loops.
“Freedom” is a little more experimental of the bunch, with a broken beat and soulful edge, using deep chords and quirky effects to add hints of an epic, old school style.
