In addition to her work in anime, Takahashi has also provided her voice to numerous video games, including video game counterparts to her anime roles. Takahashi has even dubbed for North American animation with her most notable credits being the Japanese voice of Wonder Girl in Young Justice and Peni Parker in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Based on the fantasy light novel series of the same name by Japanese author Toru Toba and illustrator Falmaro, the story is set in the fictional continent of Varno and in the Kingdom of Natra. When King Owen falls to illness, his son the Crown Prince and Prince Regent Wein Salema Arbalest is tasked with ruling the kingdom in his stead.

Despite being well-liked by his people, and being recognized as a highly competent monarch fully capable of ruling his father's kingdom, Prince Wein has zero interest in fulfilling his royal duties. Instead, he wants to sell his country off to relieve himself of those responsibilities. The only person aware of the prince's treasonous nature is his childhood friend Ninym who – like the prince himself – is highly competent in both politics and combat.

A release date for The Genius Prince's Guide anime has not yet been revealed by NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and no more cast members or staff have been announced at this time. The Genius Prince's Guide light novels are currently available in English and distributed by Yen Press.
