Renowned composer Yoko Kanno is returning to the world of Cowboy Bebop for the upcoming Netflix live action adaptation!

The news was announced via the Netflix Geeked Twitter account with a video post of the series' three stars, John Cho (Spike), Mustafa Shakir (Jet), and Daniella Pineda (Faye), jamming to the iconic Cowboy Bebop theme song “Tank!” as performed by Seatbelts.

Inspired by Sunrise's classic anime series, the live action adaptation follows a crew of space bounty hunters as they chase dangerous criminals across the galaxy while dealing with personal demons.

In addition to composing for Cowboy Bebop, Kanno is known for her work in iconic franchises like Macross and Ghost in the Shell, as well as her role as the leader of Seatbelts.

The live action drama adaptation of Cowboy Bebop will stream worldwide via Netflix in the autumn.
