Battle Game In 5 Seconds, My Next Life As a Villainess Lead Crunchyroll’s New Dub Lineup

Battle Game in 5 Seconds and the continuation of My Next Life As A Villainess: All Roads Lead to Doom! headline Crunchyroll's new lineup of dubbed anime for the summer season.

Crunchyroll has announced the simulcast titles that will be receiving English and international dubs during its upcoming summer season, the first of which is Battle Game in 5 Seconds, a new series based on the popular manga written by Saizo Harawata and illustrated by Kashiwa Miyako. Battle Game is directed by Nobuyoshi Arai, who previously directed episodes of Banana Fish, Kakegurui, and Yuri On Ice. The series will be available on Crunchyroll dubbed in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.

My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X is the continuation of the popular romantic-comedy that spoofs elements of shoujo manga and otome games. The second season of the series will continue Catarina's attempts to avoid her destiny, which involves her becoming the much-hated and ultimately doomed villainess of a romantic-fantasy story. Crunchyroll will produce an English dub for the series. Series stars Maaya Uchida and Sumire Uesaka were also recently confirmed to be guests at the upcoming Virtual Crunchyroll Expo, where the two voice actors will host a panel about the series.

The summer season will also see the continuation of the critically acclaimed To Your Eternity and Tokyo Revengers, both of which will be available with English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German dubs. Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun! will also return for another semester in the dark arts, and will be dubbed in English. Additionally, the highly anticipated Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime spinoff The Slime Diaries will both receive dubs in Spanish, Portuguese, French and German.
