More of Sierra's Attack on Titan cosplay can be viewed on their Instagram profile, where the versatile cosplayer has also portrayed Neon Genesis Evangelion's fiery pilot Asuka Langley Sohryu and Jujutsu Kaisen's strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo.

The character of Hange Zoë first appeared in the Attack on Titan manga at the start of Volume 3, where they were introduced as the Survey Corps' eccentric titan researcher. The scientist and inventor was notable for the compassion they displayed for the series' massive monsters, a rare trait amongst humanity's defenders. Following the death of Commander Erwin Smith alongside most of the Survey Corps forces in the Battle of Shigashina, Hange took command of the division, helping to rebuild it into the fighting force that now plays a key role in the conflicts against Marley and the other threats to humanity that appeared during the series' second half.

Attack on Titan was created by Isayama in 2009. The series has become one of the biggest anime and manga franchises to emerge out of Japan int he last 20 years, with the manga achieving a circulation of over 100 million copies worldwide. The anime adaptation premiered in 2014 and was originally produced by Wit Studio (Ranking of Kings, Vivy: Fluorite Eyes' Song), but production was moved over to studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuri!! on Ice) for the series' fourth and final season. Isayama's original manga came to a controversial end in early 2021, with the finale chapter arriving to an extremely mixed reaction from critics and fans alike. The divisive end to the manga apparently has hurt the anime's popularity, however, as the first episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season - Part 2 premiered on Jan. 9 and proceeded to immediately cause the anime streaming service Crunchyroll to crash due to the overwhelming demand on its servers. MAPPA has been releasing new art from the series to coincide with the premiere of each episode in the final half-season, the most recent batch of which was concentrated on Eren, Zeke and Grisha Jaeger.

Past seasons of the anime are available on a variety of streaming services, including Crunchyroll and Funimation. The complete manga series is now available in English from Kodansha USA.
