The most popular show in America is not WandaVision, Cobra Kai or The Mandalorian, but the anime series Attack on Titan.
According to Parrot Analytics, Attack on Titan was the most polar show in the United States during the week of Jan. 31 - Feb. 6, the same week as its series final. It had 110.5 times the demand of the average series — an increase of 10.5 percent from the previous week — beating out the second place Spongebob Squarepants (87.9) by over 15 percent. NBC's Saturday Night Live came in third place with a score of 77.6, while My Hero Academia scored 71.2 to take fourth place.
Notable series on the list include Game of Thrones in eighth place with a score of 57.3 and Stranger Things in ninth place with a score of 48.5. Game of Thrones ended its eight-season run in May 2019, while Stranger Things has not aired a new episode since July 2019.
Based on the manga of the same name, Attack on Titan premiered in April 2013. It takes place in a world dominated by vicious Titans who have forced humanity into its three remaining cities. It follows Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, three teenagers who join the Scout Regiment, an elite group of soldiers who fight against the Titans, after one of the beasts destroys their home town.
