The Studio Ghibli films Porco Rosso and From Up on Poppy Hill are receiving limited edition SteelBook Blu-ray and DVD combo packs, produced by GKIDS and distributed by Shout! Factory.
These special editions, which both come with a booklet of art and statements from the filmmakers, will be released on September 21. 12 other Studio Ghibli films (Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, The Cat Returns, Whisper of The Heart, The Secret World of Arrietty, The Wind Rises and Earwig and the Witch) previously received SteelBook releases.
The official summary of Hayao Miyazaki's 1992 adventure film Porco Rosso is as follows:
