The popular manga/anime franchise Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! Everyday Misadventures! is getting an official English translation for North American readers for the first time, beginning in November.
Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has acquired the English language license for the Everyday Misadventures! spinoff manga and light novel by FUNA and Yuki Moritaka. The cover for the first volume, set for release on Nov. 17, is below:
The series follows Misato Kurihara, a young girl who has trouble making friends due to her exceptional intellect. After being killed rescuing a girl from a car, Misato asks to be reincarnated with average abilities in her next life. Instead, though, she is reborn in a fantasy world where being average makes her exponentially more powerful than typical humans.
First published in Japan in 2016, the manga and light novel series has since been adapted into an anime that premiered in December 2019, simulcast by digital platform Crunchyroll with an English dub currently in production.
Created by FUNA and Yuni Moritaka, the first volume of Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! Everyday Misadventures! goes on sale Nov. 17 from Seven Seas Entertainment.
