Helena Hauff has been announced as the next person to take on a Kern mix for Tresor Records. The mix series has previously featured Objekt and DJ Stingray. ‘Kern Vol. 5’ will be released on June 19.
Lockdown-permitting, the release will be celebrated at Tresor on July 24, featuring sets from Helena herself, DJ Godfather, Morah and live shows from Volruptus and L.F.T., all whom feature on the mix. There will also be sets from special guests that are yet to be announced.

The mix itself is hefty and rarely dips below 150bpm. Like her renowned vinyl DJ sets, the it’s a stomping voyage through the depths techno and beyond.
It features plenty unreleased gems, including cuts from Umwelt, Galaxian, and a new collaborative track by Hauff and Morah.

To herald the release announcement, Tresor Records have released a single from L.F.T. ‘Data Move’, exclusive to the mix. Listen below.
The mix will be released as a double CD as well as a triple LP that highlights some the rare and exclusive tracks included.
Hauff has been busy curating her own label, Return To Disorder. This will be her first release since her 2019 EP ‘Living With Ants’.
