Great to have you with us here at EDM Nations, Wassay! Where in the world can our readers find you currently?

Hey there, thanks for having me 😁 I am currently staying in my Swiss residences, mainly at the MAD in Lausanne.

With your single ‘My Limit Is The Sky’ released recently, is this the first time you’ve collaborated with Nathan Blur?

Yes, this music was the first track on which we collaborated. I loved the tone of his voice and thought that it would fit perfectly with that kind of music style.

When it came to the production process, did you start with the backing track, or initial song idea?

Basically, I’d asked Nathan to help me write the lyrics for another song that hasn’t been signed yet, but along the way I tried to create a completely different track starting from the vocals he had sent me and the result won me over. So, I asked him if he would be OK if I used his voice for the second track, which he agreed.

Exactly when did your journey in to the electronic music scene begin?

I discovered electronic music at the end of 2014, during a party at a friend’s house. Then a friend from my school introduced me to DJing. Until 2022, I played at various parties before finding my current residency at the MAD Club, in Lausanne. I started producing in 2023.

And did you DJ, or start producing first?

DJing first. I was so passionate about mixing that I didn’t get to production until much later.

Moving further into 2025, what’s next in the pipeline for Wassay?

A lot of things. I’ve started working with a songwriter to help me on my actual projects. I actually have 2 finished tracks which I’m looking to get signed.
