Since his introduction in the original Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Super protagonist Goku has repeatedly proven his incredible power. In this new video, we're going to go through some of the moments throughout the franchise in which Goku really proved his true strength.
We're starting our video off with a moment from Dragon Ball Z's "Frieza Saga." During that storyline, Goku and Frieza fought a heated battle on Namek that eventually resulted in the destruction of the planet and the hero unlocking his Super Saiyan form. However, during that fight, Goku used his Spirit Bomb technique in an incredibly effective way, storing the energy in a gigantic ball of light in the sky to surprise Frieza. This new way of using the Spirit Bomb showed Goku's rapid increase in strength, and this blow -- although not fatal -- definitely showed how next level Goku had become since fighting Vegeta and Nappa on Earth. However, this certainly isn't the only time the Spirit Bomb proved one of Goku's most effective moves.

Dragon Ball Super was the most recent installment in the franchise, not counting the original net animation Super Dragon Ball Heroes. Although it's unclear just when -- or if -- the series will return, the Dragon Ball franchise is popular, so it's unlikely to stay gone for long. The manga currently expands on the ending of Dragon Ball Super, taking Goku and Vegeta into space to fight against the energy-absorbing Moro. However, it's unclear if when the anime returns it will actually pull from that plotline.
