The Dragon Ball franchise has, since its beginning, featured some absolutely stellar transformations that push both heroes and villains to new heights. For villains, in particular, these transformations are important, as they often help push the heroes to new heights. However, that doesn't mean every transformation is created equal, as some are significantly more powerful than others. In this video, we're going to go through some of the most overpowered villain transformations across the various Dragon Ball series.
We're starting off with Frieza, who was a key villain in Dragon Ball Z. During the "Namek Saga," Frieza revealed several different forms, which allowed him to take down the Z-Fighters with ease. His final form in particular was a huge power jump, and it was almost enough to take on Goku's brand-new Super Saiyan form. Still, Frieza did eventually lose, despite his cool looking final form.

Dragon Ball Super was the most recent installment in the franchise, not counting the original net animation Super Dragon Ball Heroes. Although it's unclear just when -- or if -- the series will return, the Dragon Ball franchise is popular, so it's unlikely to stay gone for long. The manga currently expands on the ending of Dragon Ball Super, taking Goku and Vegeta into space to fight against the energy-absorbing Moro. However, it's unclear if when the anime returns it will actually pull from that plotline. Still, there are likely to be a lot more powerful forms showcased in Dragon Ball Super and the future in general.
