Todd Terry, Gypsymen drop ‘Hear The Music’

U.S veteran house don Joe Ventura has been causing quite a stir since his resurgence onto the worldwide house scene last year with his prolific BIG Speaker Music and his nostalgic productions in which he’s earned a reputation as one of the go to producers for those wanting a taste of that old skool flavour in a contemporary fashion.

Joe’s been working with the likes of Robert Owens, Doug Gomez, Victor Simonelli, Sulene Fleming & That Kid Chris aswell as support from the who’s who of house DJ hierarchy including Louie Vega, Kink, Jayda G & The Blessed Madonna to name a few. On this occasion Joe presents arguably his best work and biggest collaboration to date as he remixes iconic NYC house legend Todd Terry AKA Gypsymen’s 1992 classic ‘Hear The Music’ on InHouse Records.

True to form Joe transports the original into 2021 with his signature sound adding thumping machine drum kicks and his favoured piano and organ melodies but keeps a keen eye on the original elements with that infectious scatting male vocal. One for the peak hours, one for the hands in the air, one to bring with walls down! Coming to a club near you soon…
