Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN-, the latest anime adaptation from the Saiyuki franchise, will air in January 2022!

Koichi Tochika ( JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Naruto ) will reprise the role of Hazel Grouse. Rikiya Koyama ( Naruto Shippuden, Hajime no Ippo ) will join the cast as Gatti “Gat" Nenehawk. Hochu Otsuka ( Slam Dunk ) will also return as Ni Jianyi.

Adapted from Kazuya Minekura's manga series, Saiyuki is a retelling of classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. The series follows monk Genjyo Sanzo, monkey king Son Goku, half-demon Sha Gojyo, and former human Cho Hakkai, who embark on a quest to India to stop the resurrection of Ox-Demon-King Gyumaoh.

Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN- is the franchise's fifth TV anime season. Other adaptations in its near 25-year history include OVAs, theatrical movies, musicals and more.

Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN- airs in January 2022.
