Crafted over the past few years at Abbey Road Studios, this 18-track album provides a journey through the heart of house music. Staying true to Revival House Project collaborative ethos, Dance To The Music brings together an exciting array of talented artists, each adding their unique touch to every track. The album captures the essence of connection, unity, and euphoria that defines house music culture.
Revival House Project comments, “Two years ago, the Revival House Project began with Earth Song (What About Us), a single created to uplift our collective spirits. The overwhelming support from fans, DJs, and radio inspired us to keep going, and now, after 10 singles and collaborations with world-renowned artists—including recording at the legendary Abbey Road Studios—we’ve grown into a global family.”
The collective adds, “Our debut album, Dance to the Music, is an 18-track celebration of life and joy. Inspired by our 8th single, the album’s title reflects our mission: to craft reimagined versions of beloved songs that transcend genres and invite everyone to move, feel, and celebrate. Dancing, after all, is more than movement—it’s a source of joy, healing, and connection, proven to lift spirits and strengthen both body and mind.”
In a time when many feel adrift, Dance to the Music is a tonic for the soul. It’s a love letter, a call to hope, and a reminder that music has the power to take us back to cherished memories and propel us forward with renewed energy. This album is not just something to listen to—it’s something to feel, to share, and most importantly it’s a whole album that you can dance to.
The album features 10 already released singles, and 8 new tracks. With collaborations with artists such as: Emeli Sandé, Jools Holland, Kathy Brown, Peyton, Imaani, Mary Pearce, Bryan Chambers, Phebe Edwards, Bryn Christopher, Anelisa Lamola, Greg Gould, Nate James, and the GeO Gospel Choir.
GeO Gospel Choir comments “Working with Revival House Project is like being part of one big family. Everyone at the label, including the team that work so hard behind the scenes and all the incredible artists are just a joy to work with and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a special and exciting new project.”
Revival Records co-founder Peyton comments on the upcoming release “Over the years I’ve accumulated friends and colleagues in the business that I love and respect, but having the privilege to bring so many of them together as a collective has been a dream come true. As someone who idolised George Michael for both his vocals and songwriting, it was a calculated risk as well as a huge honour to take on the titanic anthem that is Freedom. And then, after years of Kathy Brown and me saying we must do a track together someday, to finally make it happen with One Love was just epic. Primal Scream’s Moving On Up is one of those records that’s been part of my life in so many ways, I adopted it as mine years ago.”
He adds, “As for Revival’s masterful rework of my very first record, A Higher Place, which changed my life when it was first released over twenty years ago – I find myself once again in that place, singing and dancing under amazing grace, with creative, inspiring people that I love, and trust, and who I know I can count on, like a family.”
