Hardcore isn’t a genre that’s usually covered on Your EDM – not for lack interest, but we generally place our priorities on other bass genres. That being said, I absolutely could not make it through the rest the day without bringing awareness to this insane hardcore flip Disney’s Frozen’s “Let It Go.”
Tweekacore, the hardcore side project hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz, made their festival debut at Defqon.1 this year alongside happy hardcore legend Darren Styles in a b2b for the legend books. In their set, they debuted this incredible flip “Let It Go” that makes impeccable use Idina Menzel’s original vocals alongside a fast-paced rhythm and wild synth landscape.
The intersection a widely-known pop song with an easily digestible rhythm and soundscape should make this flip an easy listen for anyone looking to broaden their musical tastes. And for those that have never listened to happy hardcore before, let this be a fine introduction.
Tweekacore also debuted an incredible remix Eiffel 65’s “Blue” in the same Defqon.1 set, both which you can stream below. Tweekacore made their US debut on New Year’s Even in Los Angeles.
