Upcoming Netflix anime series Yasuke has revealed the cast for the Japanese language track along with a Japanese-language trailer!
Jun Soejima will play Yasuke, with Takehiro Hira as Oda Nobunaga, Kiko Tamura as Saki, and Yoshiko Sakakibara as Yami no Daimyo.
Other cast members include Fusako Urabe as Natsumaru, Yu Kamio as Morisuke, Eri Kitamura as Ishikawa, Kenji Kitamura as Achoja, Shunsuke Kubozuka as Hart, Hiroki Nanami as Nikiita, and Rie Tanaka as Ichika.
Set in the 16th century, the show is inspired by Yasuke, a real life historical figure who became the first African samurai during the Sengoku period. Having become a ronin, or masterless samurai, Yasuke takes up his sword to protect a young girl with mysterious powers from the forces of darkness.
Yasuke streams worldwide via Netflix from April 29.
