Naruto Fan’s Amazing Kakashi Collage Celebrates the Entire Series

A Naruto fan has created a jaw-dropping collage based around the copy ninja Kakashi.

The new art of the Sixth Hokage comes from Turned Ninja, a professional artist who was previously highlighted on CBR for their amazing portrait of Naruto's titular hero. Turned Ninja is back with another nostalgic illustration, this time depicting Kakashi and key moments from that character's life, including his tutelage under the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, his time as a member of the Anbu black-ops division, to his own mentorship of Team Seven and finally his time as the sixth leader of Konohagakure. The artist shared a video of the piece to Reddit, which showcases the level of detail that went into the portrait and all of the individual scenes it portrays.

More of Turned Ninja's work can be seen on their website, where they are not only offering prints of their the Kakashi piece, but can also be hired to create customized portraits and fan art. In addition to the their Naruto illustrations, the artist is also known for their Dragon Ball and Marvel comics inspired works.

The Naruto series has done a lot of looking back at its past lately, as 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the original anime series' premiere. The series' producers kicked off the anniversary celebration at this year's Jump Festa, where they revealed a new logo for the series, which shows Naruto at different stages of his life, and a new illustration, which shows a lonely young Naruto being comforted by his adult-self, who has achieved his dream of becoming the Hokage. While nothing has been announced since, more new events and releases related to the anniversary have been promised to be revealed throughout the year.

Naruto was created by Masashi Kishimoto in 1999 and was one of Weekly Shonen Jump's biggest hits of the era, alongside Tite Kubo's Bleach and Eiichiro Oda's still on-going One Piece. The series is the fourth best-selling manga of all time, with over a quarter of a billion copies in circulation. The franchise continues today with the sequel series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which tells the story of Naruto and Hinata's son, Boruto. The Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime are available for streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll and Funimation, while new episodes of the Boruto anime are being simulcast through Crunchyroll. Kishimoto's manga is available in English in both print and digital formats from VIZ Media.
