It's time to d-d-d-d... Deku?
Jasco Games has teamed with Asmodee USA for a collectible card game based on the popular manga/anime series My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia), which will see a worldwide English release this summer.
My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game allows players to "build powerful decks around the students of Class 1-A and the heroes and villains that surround them, battling rivals with an all new collection of cards developed around the characters and quirks of the fan-favorite (okay and our favorite) series."
Jasco promises an "updated card layout and carefully considered design" for the game, so as to ensure My Hero Academia CCG will "be approachable for new players, introducing them to the depth and strategy of the UniVersus system, while maintaining complete compatibility with previous UFS/UVS releases."
The game's first wave will include a 2-player "Rival Deck," "deck-loadable" content packs and booster packs, as well as a series of playmats featuring characters from My Hero Academia. Thanks to Jasco's partnership with Asmodee, the game will be available at "friendly local game stores everywhere."
