Hit singer Ado has revealed a vibrant music video for "Gyakko," an insert song for upcoming anime film One Piece Film: Red!
Ado performed the song as Uta, a new character she voiced in the film. Not only is Uta an enormously popular diva, but she is also revealed to be the daughter of Red-Haired Shanks.
College student and singer-songwriter Vaundy created the lyrics and music, and illustrator so-bin provided the illustrations for the video.
Based on the phenomenally popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece follows the adventures of aspiring pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as he pursues his lifelong dream of becoming the King of Pirates.
One Piece Film: Red revolves around renowned songstress Uta, who is about to make her live concert debut. The film features several songs performed by Ado and produced by Yasutaka Nakata, Mrs. Green Apple, Vaundy, FAKE TYPE., Hiroyuki Sawano, Yuta Orisaka, and Motohiro Hata.
One Piece Film: Red opens at theaters across Japan on August 6, 2022.
