In Mija’s new single, “Secrets,” the song shows off her love for all genres as the beat features a lovely bass and drums beat in the background. Most EDM songs do not feature musical instruments in the background, but Mija is not your typical EDM artist. Her, ‘fck a genre’, style makes her music different from most artists in the genre.
“Secrets” also features the beautiful voices of Tegan & Sara, which makes the song even better than it already was. The song is her first single on her new label, Never Be Alone, and Mija definitely started out with a bang. The single is a combination of great background bass and drums, flawless vocals and a sped up beat that will get your heart racing. “Secrets” is definitely one that will make you fall in love with Mija and her unpredictable style.
Mija is an American EDM producer/ DJ from Phoenix, Arizona. She is relatively new to the EDM scene, but has been making a lot of noise in the short time she’s been making music. She has already performed at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and TommorrowWorld. The female DJ is known most notably for playing sets with Skrillex and releasing music on his label OWSLA, even though she is still an independent artist.
