LUUDE Drops Entirely Unexpected Flip Of Youth Group's "Forever Young" Cover [PREMIERE]

Alphaville struck gold with “Forever Young” in 1984, as did Youth Group when they covered the song for The O.C. in 2005. Now, 13 years later, Australian producer LUUDE, one our  (not in small part due to his that was played out at EDC Las Vegas), has come out with this crazy inventive flip the classic song that brings it even further into the 21st century.

Starting f with the original vocals and a simple bassline and guitar rhythm, the track quickly picks up at the drop with a more electronic influence. As that last kick hits before the drop, you get that recognizable feeling , “Oh, this is gonna be good.”

What you get is a sound that is wholly unique and completely different from anything that I can readily bring to mind in modern dance music. Whether it’s the key or the specific composition sounds, Luude has managed to find a sound that is entirely his own. Coupled with Youth Group’s innocent and nostalgic vocals, the flip is sure to become a hit.
