Chinese-American producer and DJ HELANG has officially imparted the penultimate single, “No One,” ahead of her forthcoming Lovers of the Unknown EP. Now streaming on her self-founded record label, Dauntless Recordings, “No One” materializes a direct follow up to her March-released one-off, “Wise Devil.” Having tended decks alongside the likes of Eli Brown, CamelPhat, Joris Voorn, and deadmau5‘s Testpilot alter ego, HELANG aims to capitalize on her snowballing traction with the May 17th release of Lovers of the Unknown. Speaking on her latest single, HELANG mused,
“When I came across this vocal sample, I just knew I had to incorporate it into [‘No One’]. Next thing you know, I was building a synth bass and gated vocals around the powerful voice, which I hope people can resonate with in terms of being their most authentic and unique versions of themselves.”
