Godzilla Singular Point has revealed its updated design for another iconic kaiju.
The Twitter account for the Netflix anime series revealed its new look for Rodan, which was designed by Eiji Yamamori and colored by Yuji Kaneko. Rodan's new form resembles a massive Pterodactyl with blood-red skin and beady eyes and features a massive blue-skinned beak. The winged kaiju will make its debut in episode 2 of Godzilla Singular Point, with a new episodes premiering every Thursday on Netflix.

The Godzilla Singular Point Twitter has also posted a promo for episode 2 of the series, which features Rodan battling the massive robot known as Jet Jaguar. Rodan also made a brief appearance in the official trailer for Godzilla Singular Point, which featured kaiju including Anguirus.
Yamamori, who previously worked on films for Studio Ghibli, also provided the design for Godzilla in Singular Point. The King of the Monsters' design in Singular Point features massive legs and small but muscular arms in homage to the Heisei era of Godzilla films. Kazue Kato provides character designs for the humans in the series, with anime studios Bones and Orange handling animation duties in partnership with Netflix.
Directed by Atsushi Takahashi and written by Toh Enjoe, Godzilla Singular Point arrives on Netflix in April.
