With character designs by Kazue Kato (Blue Exorcist), Godzilla: Singular Point is an original anime series with an all-new cast and story. Produced by animation studios Bones (My Hero Academia) and Orange (Beastars, Land of the Lustrous), the series will combine both hand-drawn and CG animation styles. Godzilla: Singular Point is set to release worldwide in 2021.
Director Atsushi Takahashi (Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi) is joined by composer Kan Sawada (Yowamushi Pedal) and Toh Enjoe, who will make his TV debut as writer and editor for the series.
Godzilla: Singular Point will be Netflix's next foray into the Godzilla-verse. Some of the more recent forays include Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, released by the streaming service in January 2018, which was followed by Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle and later Godzilla: Planet Eater, each of which were released in 2018. The classic Godzilla films can currently be streamed via HBO Max.
Directed by Atsushi Takahashi and written by Toh Enjoe, Godzilla Singular Point will premiere in 2021.
