Don’t get us wrong — lyrically, Terror Reid is as insane as ever. This may actually be the best display of his work yet. Not only does it showcase the producer/DJ/rapper’s indisputable talent and poetic abilities, but his well-rounded approach to music no matter the genre.
Terror’s signature and always crafty rhymes are front and center, with bold, booming beats reminiscent of the raw, old school hip hop we love and miss. Lighter tracks like “Kill the Rich” still manage to go hard, but counter the outwardly heavy, like “Outlawz.” In the end, we’re left fully satisfied and pleasantly surprised.
