February 2022 is rapidly nearing its end, and the summer blockbuster movie season is quickly appearing on the horizon, with the opening wave of superhero films led by The Batman to kick off March. However, this past week has also seen some major video game news, from the long-awaited launch of the fantasy open-world game Elden Ring to confirmation from Capcom about its marquee fighting game future, boosted by action-packed, stylish trailers and promos.
Here are all the biggest and best trailers, teasers and promos from the final full week of February 2022, from big season premieres coming to Netflix, Apple TV+ and Paramount+ to blockbuster movies set to unfold as spring begins to warm up.
The Batman
With The Batman poised to open in theaters everywhere in less than a week, no one appears safe from the menace of the Riddler, including the NBA. A special promo for the superhero film aired during the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, with the Riddler briefly taking over the broadcast and the Dark Knight leaping into action amidst a sizzle reel from the movie that showcased some brand-new footage.
Produced, directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman opens in theaters on March 4.
DC Showcase: Constantine - The House of Mystery
While Matt Ryan may have ended his live-action run as John Constantine on Legends of Tomorrow, he reprises the animated iteration of the role last seen in 2020's Justice League Dark: Apokolips War as part of the DC Showcase Animated Shorts Collection out this May. A trailer for the short film "Constantine: The House of Mystery" has John trapped in the eponymous house, facing the wrath of the Spectre.

Elden Ring
One of the most eagerly anticipated video game releases of the year is the hack-and-slash fantasy RPG Elden Ring, and a launch trailer doesn't pull its punches with the game's fire and fury. The trailer has the nameless player characters navigating the perilous Lands Between, encountering many of the fearsome monsters that stand in their way of restoring the kingdom through an ancient artifact.
Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
The Fairly OddParents
Nickelodeon's popular animated series The Fairly OddParents is getting a revival series on Paramount+, reuniting the classic voice cast while blending live-action environments and characters with the magically animated Wanda and Cosmo. The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder follows Viv, the niece of original series' protagonist Timmy Turner, with Viv's stepbrother Roy also getting in on the fairytale shenanigans as they move to a new town.
Created by Butch Hartman, The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder premieres March 31 on Paramount+.
Ghost in the Shell
The CG anime reimagining of Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell is returning for its second season this May, with a teaser trailer heralding a return to the gorgeous cyberpunk world. Returning protagonist Motoko Kusanagi and her partner Batou continue to investigate the Post Human threat from the first season, with the teaser featuring plenty of formidable enemies and running gunfights for the fate of humanity.
Directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Season 2 premieres this May on Netflix.
Jujutsu Kaisen
After premiering in Japan this past December to widespread commercial and critical success, the anime prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is coming to North American theaters next month. A trailer for the film, based on the manga series by Gege Akutami, confirms the international release date as protagonist Yuta Okkotsu faces off against the villainous Suguru Geto while contending with the fact that his late girlfriend has resurfaced as a terrifying monster.
Directed by Sunghoo Park, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 opens on March 18 in North American theaters.
Morbius
One of the big mysteries amidst the growing Marvel Cinematic Multiverse in the wake of Spider-Man: No Way Home is how exactly the upcoming antihero film Morbius figures into the shared cinematic world. Ahead of the final trailer premiere, star Jared Leto hosts a promo that explores the history of Michael Morbius, from vampiric Spider-Man supervillain to tortured antihero seeking redemption, with the promo including snippets of new footage from the movie.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius opens in theaters on April 1.
The Snoopy Show
The iconic world and characters from Charles Schulz's Peanuts are back for a new season of Apple TV+'s acclaimed animated series The Snoopy Show. In addition to the return of the world's favorite beagle, Apple has confirmed that a new set of animated specials is slated to premiere on the digital platform, proving that Charlie Brown and his friends continue to endure over seventy years after the cartoon strip's debut.
Developed for television by Rob Boutilier, Mark Evestaff and Alex Galatis, The Snoopy Show Season 2 premieres March 11 on Apple TV+.
Street Fighter 6
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Capcom's Street Fighter franchise, and to commemorate the milestone, the company has officially confirmed the development of Street Fighter 6 through a first look teaser trailer. While details about the upcoming fighting game remain scarce, the teaser shows a weathered Ryu confronting his younger opponent Luke for a hard-hitting brawl.
Published by Capcom, Street Fighter 6 does not yet have a confirmed release date nor intended platforms.
