FILA has announced a brand-new collaboration with Toei Animation, which will feature shoes modeled after popular characters from Dragon Ball Super.
According to Hypebeast, seven characters from Dragon Ball Super -- Goku, Goku Black, Vegeta, Golden Frieza, Trunks, Beerus and Super Shenron -- will all receive unique colorways in this collaboration.
Each character is receiving a shoe in one of three FILA silhouettes, the Renno, Original Fitness and the F-13, all of which are available in kids' and men's sizes. The entirety of the shoe sports designs inspired by the characters' signature style and colors.
Goku, Goku Black, Vegeta and Super Shenron adorn the Renno silhouette. Goku's colorway is his signature blue and orange with yellow laces inspired by his hair in his Super Saiyan form. Goku Black's colorway is dark gray, black and red in reference to his uniform. It also has pink laces and green, silver and purple highlights inspired by his Potara earring, time ring and violent nature. Vegeta's colorway is blue, white and metallic gold, influenced by his clothing in the show with a hint of bright blue inspired by his hair. Finally, Super Shenron's colorway utilizes a combination of red, orange and yellow influenced by the dragon's design in the show.
Beerus and Golden Frieza grace the Original Fitness silhouette. Beerus' colorway is purple with gold laces and blue highlights inspired by his clothing and jewelry. On the other hand, Golden Frieza's colorway is gold with purple laces and purple and brown highlights inspired by the character's look in the show. Finally, Trunks bedecks the F-13 silhouette. This colorway is light blue with red laces and touches of dark green, bright blue and black inspired by his clothing and hair. Trunk's shoe is the only high-top option in the new collection.
Slated for release in the United States and Canada on Dec. 21, the entire collection will be available at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Footaction. Prices will range between $65 and $100.
