Almost 13 years ago, famously used a Hurricane Katrina telethon event to proclaim that then-President Now, 's teamed with comedian Tiffany Haddish to recreate that iconic moment in his new video for his Dre-assisted single, "Pick It Up." Guess who's his G.W.?
The video begins with what appears to be a mock telethon for Hurricane Maria, which swept through Puerto Rico and surrounding areas last fall. Haddish essentially plays the part Mike Myers, who stood stunned next to Yeezy when he made his anti-Bush comments years ago. "Donald Trump don't like Brown and Black people," says Fat Joe, who teamed with last fall. From there, Haddish curses out the Bronx rapper, and the video cuts back to the actual song.
The video, which is a Tidal exclusive, finds Fat Joe and Dre turning up in Las Vegas, hitting a casino as they post up with an entourage models. It's a lush video for a track that uses a sample 2Pac's "Ambitionz Az a Ridah."
Tidal has also uploaded some behind-the-scenes footage the video shoot for the new visual. In that clip, we see Joey and Dre having some fun on the set the video, also praising Tidal for their work helping the world at large.
