The first Saiyan duo fans met in Dragon Ball was Nappa and Vegeta, threatening to destroy Earth. Then, it was Vegeta and Goku. After that, Goten and Trunks became the Saiyan buddies that seemed like they would be the next duo. However, we've seen what they get up to during the Buu Saga and later on during time skips, leaving nothing to the imagination since we already know their future: they go on to open up a martial arts school focusing on swordsmanship. But there are two more characters that would be interesting to follow as they develop their Saiyan fighting skills: Bulla and Pan.
While we've seen some of what Pan can do during Dragon Ball GT, the dynamic between her and Bulla as they learn to control their Saiyan powers would be entertaining to say the least, especially considering their differing personalities. Bulla is much like her father in that she is stubborn and hardheaded, though she is much more social and expressive of her femininity, like her mother. In GT, we see she's spoiled by Vegeta, with Bulma's domineering streak. She loves shopping and doesn't take part in training like her father and brother, though it's suggested she has many of the abilities they do, including energy blasts and flight. So the potential for her to fight is there.
Pan is much more of a tomboy, and is shown at an early age to enjoy play-fighting. She is confident and independent, but still gets upset when she loses. Much like Bulla, she's spoiled by her father Gohan, who mentions he can't find it in himself to discipline her. This might be because of his childhood growing up under Chi-Chi, who was beyond strict and controlling. Pan also tends to throw fits when something goes wrong. But, she is much more interested in training than Bulla is, so she would most likely be the better fighter.
The two girls are shown to be close friends, with Bulla supporting Pan from the stands during the 28th World Martial Art Tournament at the end of Dragon Ball Z. A series that follows them would definitely be an interesting watch, seeing how they use their unique skills and personalities to overcome obstacles. Bulla is a flirt, and uses her looks to her advantage. Pan is the brawn of the pair, but is also more reserved. With Vegeta's daughter for a friend, it's easy to imagine the trouble they could get into, much like Trunks and Goten currently do.
Bulla would most likely be the boy-crazy one, wanting to spend time shopping and going on dates instead of worrying about training. Meanwhile, Pan would most likely be the oblivious one, thinking anyone stepping her is a challenge to fight. She would probably be more like Bulla's bodyguard, tossing any guy that tried doing anything to her to the side with ease. Bulla would also like try to help Pan get in touch with her more feminine side, while Pan would share her fighting techniques or talk about new moves she's learned from Piccolo or Goku. They would be two sides of the same coin, making them a great pair to follow. There's a lot they could teach and learn from each other, like it's okay to be feminine and love fighting, or shopping and boys aren't the most important things in life.
It's probably something dating-related that'd trigger Bulla's first Super Saiyan transformation, though. The transformation is usually triggered by an extreme emotion like anger, and teenage hormones are rough enough as it is. Pan would have probably already mastered going Super Saiyan at a young age like Goten before her, though Dragon Ball Fusions notes her as wanting the form mostly for the blonde hair.
A scenario where the two girls have to go find the Dragon Balls while the others stay behind to fight the big bad evil guy would be perfect. It would be reminiscent of the original series while following two characters who got little screen time outside of GT, which no longer counts as canon. They could travel the world, dodging minions of the main antagonist, who is busy fighting their friends and family. Only time will tell what the producers will decide to do with future installments, though.
